Children's Hospital Colorado | January 27, 2020

Children’s Colorado and The Courts Sports Complex (The Courts), a 32,000-square-foot indoor sports facility located in Northglenn, Colo., are proud to announce an official partnership.

The Courts Sports Complex is a new facility for all ages featuring four regulation basketball courts or six volleyball courts, a concession stand, a reception area and an athletic trainer’s room. It serves as a space for practices during the weekdays and games/tournaments on the weekends. The Courts expect to see up to 3,000 patrons on the weekends, with up to 250,000 visitors yearly.

Children's Colorado athletic trainers will help kids stay safe

“We’re excited to be a place where athletes in the northern Denver metro area and beyond can come to play sports, experience healthy competition and grow,” said John Wray, Sr., co-owner of The Courts. “Children’s Colorado athletic trainers will help kids stay safe while they’re at our facility.”

The partnership will include onsite Children’s Colorado athletic trainers at all major tournaments and events hosted by The Courts. Children’s Colorado will also provide experts for educational workshops and focused clinics.

We're aligned in encouraging a healthy, active lifestyle

“Together we hope to continue to enhance athletic opportunities for kids and young adults,” said Christy Dobson, executive director of corporate and community relations at Children’s Colorado. “We are honored to align with The Courts Sports Complex and look forward to helping more young people lead healthy, active lives.”

New and expanded facilities are coming to the north metro area

The Courts is the result of three parents in Denver’s northern suburbs who wanted to provide local kids with more access to gyms and court space. Prior to opening, there were no facilities like it within 25 miles.

Children’s Colorado is expanding its North Campus, which is located just fifteen minutes away in Broomfield, Colo., to meet the need of the growing population in the north metro area.
