Our fellows are the backbone — and the future — of our Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders. Here’s what our fellowship program can offer you.

About our Pediatric Hematology Oncology Fellowship Program

Under the guidance of some of the best pediatric cancer physician-scientists in the country, our fellows will become equally skilled in clinical care and research relating to pediatric hematology and oncology. Our accredited Pediatric Hematology Oncology Fellowship Training Program lasts for 36 months. During this time, fellows will gain the clinical skills to diagnose and treat children with hematologic or malignant disorders and those requiring bone marrow transplantation. Our fellows will also select a research mentor to learn the skills necessary to conduct cutting-edge pediatric research.

Our fellows gain experience in the following clinical areas:

  • Oncology
  • Hematology
  • Neuro-oncology
  • Bone marrow transplantation
  • Experimental therapeutics (for fellows interested)
