Oncology services

Our specialized teams provide comprehensive care for children, adolescents and young adults with leukemia and lymphoma, solid tumors, and cancers of the brain and nervous system. Our oncology services include:

  • Consultation, second opinions and complementary and alternative therapies for cancer
  • An outpatient infusion center with specialized staffing for high-acuity care
  • Weekend infusions to avoid hospitalization whenever possible
  • Referral to home infusion services and professional services
  • A propofol clinic (a specialized anesthesia clinic for children undergoing potentially painful procedures)
  • An MIBG Program for radiation targeted to certain cancer cells for neuroblastoma
  • A school re-introduction program when the child is well enough to attend school
  • Care for pediatric cancer survivors and support as they transition into adulthood
  • Fertility preservation consultation at the time of initial diagnosis
