Verifying insurance benefits and coverage

Not all services may be covered by your insurance plan. Prior to your visit, please contact your insurance plan to verify your benefits and coverage. Your plan may have network restriction, co-payments, deductibles or other out-of-pocket expenses that will be your responsibility.

The specialists at Children’s Colorado are members of the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Please verify that the physician you will be seeing is a participating provider for your insurance plan.

We accept many plans with the insurance companies listed below, but not all plans offer benefits at Children’s Colorado. If you are uninsured, please see our information regarding online bill pay and payment plans. You can also learn more about our Financial Assistance Programs.

Because changes may not be immediately reflected here, please contact your insurance plan to ensure that Childrens Colorado and University of Colorado School of Medicine are participating in your health plans network.

Coverage limitations are dependent upon individual group contracts. Your insurance plan may require prior approval before services are rendered for coverage. You should contact the member services team for your individual insurance plan to ensure that approval is granted to minimize or eliminate your financial responsibility.

Childrens Colorado does not participate with health sharing ministries including, but not limited to: Samaritan Ministries, Christian Healthcare Ministries, Christian Care Ministry/Medishare, Liberty HealthShare and Altrua HealthShare.
